  1. Software Distribution System -- Distribution Decision #004
  2. Software Package: QuickBBS

  6. It has been decided by the SDS RC Council to repeal the portion of
  7. Decision #003  which applies to the QuickBBS software package. This
  8. decision has been arrived at after much discussion between Pegasus
  9. Software and the SDS RC Council. We have found that our basis for
  10. Decision #004 as it applied to QuickBBS was in fact due to a programming
  11. error which caused certain functions of one release of QuickBBS to function
  12. improperly until a key was provided. This led the SDS RC council to conclude,
  13. in error, that the QuickBBS software package changed function upon
  14. application of a key, thus violating a major tenet of SDS_PP&G. 
  15.  
  16. Henceforth, submissions QuickBBS will once again be accepted and carried 
  17. via the SDS network. This ruling superceeds all previous SDS rulings on
  18. QuickBBS and only applies to the QuickBBS BBS software package and it's
  19. utilities.
